I love it. It's better than TMBG's first two children's albums: "No!" & "Here Come The ABCs". Most of the songs aren't overly simplistic. It truly sounds like a child-friendly album that adults can like. That's been said before but this is closer to the truth. I'd like it better without the Clubhouse Disney songs, but the kid's wouldn't.

Track breakdown:
01-HereComesThe123s : Another tiny intro melody
02-Zeros : The enormity and nothingness of zero.
03-OneEverything : Soft rock explanation of grouping.
04-NumberTwo : An old heart warming song.
05-TriopsHasThreeEyes : A happy song about a prehistoric critter.
06-ApartmentFour: TMBG fans will remember "Dr. Worm".
07-HighFive!: Hip disco song for celebrating kids.
08-TheSecretLifeOfSix: Repetition about things upside-down.
09-Seven: Kids crowding a parent's house during a party.
10-SevenDaysOfTheWeek: Every unemployed kid's theme song.
11-FigureEight: Rock illustration of handwriting.
12-PirateGirlsNine: Open-ended tune for silly stories.
13-NineBowlsOfSoup: Kids will like the woah-woah-woah.
14-TenMississippi: Flansburgh's wife's song.
15-OneDozenMonkeys: A very, very cute and fun song.
16-EightHundredAndThriteenMile: Road trip rock.
17-Infinity: Peaceful way to try to comprehend endlessness.
18-ICanAdd: A group sharing simple math.
19-Nonagon: Great electronic melody about shapes.
20-EvenNumbers: Tune goes from slow to silly to slow.
21-OhhLa!OhhLa!: Jump rope theme song.
22-HeartOfTheBand: Homage to the drummer.
23-HotDog!: The Clubhouse Disney closing song.
24-MickeyMountClubhouseTheme: Ditto

Fantastic game.
It's true to the Pokemon series where it's the same game formula but with better graphics.

I was wondering how they'd take advantage of the DS touch-pad and they do so smartly by using it for the battle interface.

I haven't done this yet but another supercool bonus to this new version is you can communicate wirelessly and trade or battle Pokemon with random people on Earth.

I think the real value of Pokemon is that it's only for the portable gameboy/DS systems. Pokemon not something you'd play for hours at home but it's the best to kill time while waiting for you food at a restaurant, or when your boss has his back turned, or waiting at a red light.

Damian Kolodiy made a documentary about the last election in Ukraine.
It's an exciting film, detailing the story about the presidential nominee who was poisoned. It's well narrated and produced, and is a film that can be enjoyed by Ukrainians and others alike.

My only criticism is Damian makes his American political leanings evident in the film. I think documentary filmmakers shouldn't complain about anything. This dates the movie and makes the audience feel the footage has a political agenda.

This is an excellent film that deserves attention. Please go to:

The commercial for the game looked pretty cool and convinced me to buy it.
I like StarWars Battlefront, the first-person shooter and I love the StarCraft and WarCraft games and this game appeared as a combination of the two. It is.
I'll play this game, it looks great and all, but it just isn't as much fun as you'd want.
Many features are much cooler than WarCraft, but despite that, it's not as fun.
As soon as the new StarCraft comes out, I'll stop playing Empire At War entirely.

"This is the sketch of 'It's So Loud in Here', done disco style." Says John Flansburg as he strolls around the cluttered recording studio. He starts the song and plays with the empty jewel case as he, John Linnell, and their cronies listen to it for the first time. Actually, it was the first time I heard it as well but unfortunately, that's not enough to make me a They Might Be Giants crony.

This scene is from a unique and delightful movie: "Gigantic, A Tale of Two Johns". A documentary about the life and work of the musical duo: They Might Be Giants. This collage of the band discussing their past, live concert footage, interviews with celebrity fans, and clever snippets of humor make for a truly unparalleled film.

I admit I'm biased. I'm a truehearted fan. I love their sophisticated head-bobbing music. I own all their released material and see them perform live whenever I have the opportunity. Does this make me more likely to be delighted by "Gigantic" or to be more critical. Good question. The answer is both.

The film is certainly a treat. Scenes like the "It's So Loud in Here" were my favorite. Being welcomed into Flansburg's apartment recording studio... Seeing them practice one of their songs in a hallway in preparation for a performance on the Conan O'Brian Show... Watching Linnell nervously fiddle with a malfunctioning coffee maker and similar shots were my absolute favorites. It's delightful to see them being humanized when they're already so very, very human.

I didn't like the celebrities. I'm not impressed or amused by seeing people, unrelated to the band, recite song lyrics. Their slow, melancholy tone upset the movie's fun pace. This is probably where my devotion to the band prevented me from loving the film unconditionally. Maybe normal fans are amused by celebrities. I'm not.

Following the release of their film I heard being interviewed on a radio show. Amusingly, John admitted that they're aware that the title "Gigantic, A Tale of Two Johns" sounds much like the title to a porn film. While it may not have that appeal, it will satisfy your ambitious nature. Witnessing the humble, hard-working tale of They Might Be Giants will inspire and delight musicians and artists of all kind.
